DO YOU OFFER SAME DAY DELIVERY?

This is our most frequent FAQ. No! For one simple reason: we are committed to offering
you the freshest flowers. Each morning we buy your flowers
to order, directly from the local growers and the
Sydney Flower Markets. Because we know exactly how
many flowers we need each day we don’t hold days-old
flowers in our studio. Often you’ll receive your flowers just
a day after they were picked. Your Petal Post flowers’
vase-life will surprise you, lasting sometimes over two

WHAT DO I DO WITH MY FLOWERS WHEN I RECEIVE
THEM?

Unbox, smell, snip, water, arrange, enjoy! With each delivery,
we provide specific flower info, where your flowers are
grown and simple arrangement tips allowing you to get
creative without delay. Pop over to our Flower Care for

WHY DO YOU CHOOSE LOCAL OVER IMPORTED
FLOWERS?

That’s right – you will never find imported flowers in our
boxes. Ever! The variety of Australian flowers are beautiful
all year round and in our opinion superior to the imported
product, simply because they are fresher not having been
picked weeks prior & refrigerated during overseas transit.
We are committed to supporting our local farmers & the
Australian Flower Industry, so much so we are accredited
with the Australian Grown logo. We are 100% an eco-conscious
business – by choosing local we reduce our carbon
footprint.

CAN I SELECT WHICH FLOWERS I SEND?

We create just one selection of flowers each week with
three size options. You won’t know what we’ll offer until
that Monday morning. We love that you’ll experience the
anticipation and surprise upon opening each Petal Post
delivery! We often do limited editions around Peony
Season & Christmas.

WHAT IF NOBODY IS THERE TO RECEIVE THE
DELIVERY?

We prefer to hand deliver our Petal Box Boxes to ensure
they are received safely. If there’s nobody home, we’ll do
our best to find a covered spot to leave your Petal Post
Box. Please let us know if you have any special delivery instructions on the order page.

OUR FLOWER BOXES

Our Petal Post Flower Boxes are specially designed to keep your
flowers protected throughout their journey to you. They
come in two sizes so your blooms perfectly fit no matter
what size you order. Our boxes are made right here in
Sydney from 100% recycled material by an Australian
owned company. Boasting beautiful botanical artwork from
a local photographer & proudly displaying the Australian
Grown logo they are both functional & eye-catching. Read

DO YOU OFFER FREE DELIVERY?

Yes, we offer free delivery for all our Flower Subscriptions.
Our regular Subscribers also receive free delivery when they
gift a Flower Box to someone else. Single deliveries are
charged at a flat delivery rate of $15.00.

WHAT IS A FLOWER SUBSCRIPTION?

Our Flower Subscriptions allow you to order regular flower
delivery in one simple transaction. You choose the frequency
(weekly/ fortnightly/ monthly) and choose the day of the
week each delivery occurs. i.e. If you choose Wednesday as
your delivery day, each subsequent delivery (whether
weekly or fortnightly etc) will arrive on this day. Each delivery
you’ll receive that week’s flower selection, with arrangement
tips and flower info. Each month we include a gift for you as
a special treat, from one of our local artisan partners.

DO YOU SEND VASES & GIFTS?

We stock a beautiful selection of hand-made vases, homewares & treats made by local artisans. These can be added
to your cart during your Flower Box or Flower Subscription
purchase.

DO YOU DELIVER ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS OR OVER THE
CHRISTMAS PERIOD?

No – Petal Post does not deliver on public holidays or over
Christmas & New Year. If your Flower Subscription is due on
a public holiday, the delivery will be made the weekday prior
or the weekday after. Prior to Christmas, we’ll be in touch to
let you know that your subscription will be extended the additional
time to compensate for the break.
