These Terms and Conditions govern the use of petalpost.com.au and the purchase of any goods from it. Petalpost.com.au is owned and operated by Petal Post (ABN 306 368 992 93).
Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Petal Post. Petal Post offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
Please note that by using this website you agree to be bound by its terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability. You also acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. Petal Post reserves the right to amend or update this information at any time without providing notice.
By visiting our site and/ or purchasing products from Petal Post, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”).
Prices and Billing
Prices for our products include delivery unless otherwise stated. Prices are listed in Australian Dollars and include GST. Prices are subject to change without notice and the new price will be displayed on petalpost.com.au.
For Subscriptions Orders, if we increase our prices, subscribers will be provided the option to cancel the subscription free of charge prior to the next scheduled subscription delivery.
We accept American Express, Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards. These payments are processed securely using Stripe or PayPal.
Ongoing subscriptions will be billed initially for your first delivery. Ongoing subscription deliveries will be billed on a recurring basis in every week in which a delivery is scheduled. Your card will be billed in any given week will be the value of your order(s) for the given week. Flower Bundles will be charged once upon checkout for the entire cost of the bundle package.
If you create and account, your card details are stored securely by Stripe or PayPal to enable you to check out on future visits without re-entering your card details. Petal Post does not store or have access to your credit or debit card details.
Payment confirmation is required by us prior to sending you your order.
You should receive an order confirmation once your payment has been processed. If you don’t, there may have been a problem with processing your order. Please contact us if this happens, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
All orders and subscription requests received are subject to acceptance by Petal Post. Petal Post reserves the right, at our absolute discretion, to reject any order. In the event of an order rejection, we will refund or cancel any payments received, via the payment method used to place the order.
Separate orders are required for different delivery addresses. If you select more than one product in the same order, they will be delivered to the same address on the same delivery date.
Petal Post will make all reasonable efforts to have the flowers delivered to you on the scheduled delivery date. We do not deliver to PO Boxes. Delivery charges are included in the price of all orders or subscriptions.
We deliver on Mondays and Fridays between 9:00am & 5:30pm. Currently we can’t guarantee a specific time of delivery. We don’t operate on public holidays and are closed for 4 weeks over the Christmas & New Year period.
If you have a subscription or bundle and your delivery date falls on a public holiday or during the Christmas holiday break, we will deliver on the next working day.
As a part of the checkout process you will be able to select the delivery date for your first order delivery, whether that delivery is part of a subscription or a one-off order. You will also be able to select the frequency of recurrence (in the case of a subscription).
In the event of a non-delivery (flowers not arriving on the intended delivery date), let us know at email@example.com within 48 hours. Failure to do so will result in the lapse of any rights to a refund.
We will do our best to follow the delivery instructions, but cannot guarantee this.
We don’t require someone to receive the flowers. We can leave them at a location according to the delivery instructions (eg front door). If we do leave your flowers unattended we do not take any responsibility for them once they leave our hands. If there is an unsafe or non-existent delivery location available we’ll call the recipient to re-arrange delivery. There may be an additional charge applied for this.
If you change address, you must inform us of your new address details to ensure that deliveries are delivered correctly. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org by 9pm the day before your next order is due to arrive. We are unable to provide refunds for any deliveries sent to the wrong location where we have not received advanced notice.
Cancellations, Refunds & Returns
If you wish to cancel or change your order or subscription please get in touch at email@example.com. We will endeavor to make last-minute changes for you, but we may only make changes that are requested by 9pm the day before the scheduled delivery.
Please understand that due to the perishable nature of flowers, we are unable to accept returns. We may offer customers refunds or replacement flowers if the flowers delivered are deemed to not be of an acceptable quality.
We are unable to offer a refund if incorrect delivery information is given to us. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure we are provided with detailed and accurate delivery instructions. If the wrong delivery information is given we may be able to re-deliver, but this may incur an additional cost.
Your privacy is important to Petal Post and we are committed to ensuring your personal information is protected and kept personal. Petal Post may change this policy from time to time by updating this page, so please review it every now and then. Changes will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
When you purchase something from our online store, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. This is to process your order, to make future ordering easier, and to deliver your flowers.
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
A cookie is a tiny little file that's stored on your computer. It contains the address of the Web site and codes that your browser sends back to the Web site each time you visit a page there. Cookies don't usually contain personal information or anything dangerous; they're usually innocuous and useful. Cookies help us provide you with a better website.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Any third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, it will not include any personal information that would identify you.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
