Petal Post often uses professional flower couriers (third party) to deliver your flowers. We do not deliver to PO Boxes.

Someone is not required to receive the flowers upon delivery. We can leave them at a location according to the delivery instructions (eg: leave on the porch). If we do leave your flowers unattended we do not take any responsibility for them once they leave our hands.

If you have a subscription and your delivery date falls on a public holiday or during the Christmas holiday break, we will deliver on the next working day.

As a part of the checkout process, you will be able to select the delivery date for your first order delivery, whether that delivery is part of a subscription or a gift. You will also be able to select the frequency of recurrence (in the case of a subscription).

In the event of a non-delivery (flowers not arriving on the intended delivery date), let us know at hello@petalpost.com.au within 48 hours. Failure to do so will result in the lapse of any rights to a refund.

Upon receiving your order confirmation email we ask that customers check the order details & the delivery address. Petal Post does not accept any liability for incorrect address details leading to incorrect deliveries. We cannot deliver flowers with incomplete delivery addresses. Petal Post will not be liable for any deliveries unable to be fulfilled due to forces beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, mechanical breakdowns or road traffic accidents.

If you change your address, you must inform us of your new address details to ensure that deliveries are delivered correctly. Please email us at hello@petalpost.com.au by 9 pm the day before your next order is due to arrive. We are unable to provide refunds for any deliveries sent to the wrong location where we have not received advance notice.

Delivering to Businesses – When delivering to a commercial address please note that some addresses will only allow delivery to the reception or post room.  We do not accept any responsibility for the failure of the post room or reception at these commercial addresses to deliver the flowers to the recipient. If you do not want the flowers to be delivered to the post room or reception please provide specific instructions on how to deliver directly to the recipient and/or their phone number.  This can be done in the delivery instructions field upon ordering.

Delivering to Hospitals – When delivering to a Hospital please include ward number & room number to assist with delivery.

Delivering to Residential addresses – If the recipient is not home at a residential address, the driver will leave the flower box in a safe place out of the weather and passers-by unless specific instructions are given.  If the recipient is to be contacted upon delivery please provide specific instructions and their phone number. If the intended recipient would like to redirect the flower box to another address an additional courier charge will apply.

Delivery to Apartment complexes – When delivering to an apartment complex please note that some addresses are security controlled and do not have a reception or delivery space available. We do not accept any responsibility for no access at an apartment complex being provided. Please provide specific instructions on how to deliver directly to the recipient and/or their phone number.

If the courier cannot gain access the delivery may not be completed and will be forfeit for a refund. As a consequence, if a return trip is made that day to deliver the flowers, the purchaser will be notified and an additional delivery charge will be required. A return trip made on another day will require the purchaser to place another order.
